How to Enter: Beginning August 23, 2010 and concluding September 30,
2010, order a Vacation Starter Kit at
www.AAA.com/trafalgar for a chance to win a Trafalgar vacation for
two anywhere in the world Trafalgar travels, plus air. Limit one (1)
entry per AAA membership number. Multiple entries from any AAA
membership number will be voided, all but the initial entry. All entries
must be submitted by AAA or AAA members and it is the responsibility of
each AAA Travel Agent or AAA member to submit entries to Trafalgar no
later than 12:00 PM EST Thursday, September 30, 2010 via
www.AAA.com/trafalgar. Entries not submitted by the deadline will
not be accepted. A random drawing will be conducted on or about October
31, 2010 by Trafalgar Tours from among all eligible entries received.
• Grand Prize: One (1) Grand Prize of a Trafalgar vacation for the
winner and a companion will be awarded (up to a $2,500 per person credit
for the land portion and a $1,000 per person credit for the airfare; if
cost of tour is less then per person credit no refund will be given).
Prize includes hotel accommodations, some meals, transportation on tour
and the services of one of Trafalgar’s top professional Tour Directors
on tour. The winner is responsible for payment of the land and airfare
portions if over the allotted per person credit as indicated above, in
addition to all other travel to and from the point of departure. Charges
for items of a personal nature available onboard, including, but not
limited to gratuities, discretionary hotel and dining charges, phone
calls, optional excursions, gift shop purchases, spas, some beverages,
meals in alternate dining venues, travel insurance, etc., are the sole
responsibility of the winner and his/her guest. Winner will be notified
by Trafalgar Tours and asked to choose his/her preferred travel dates
and destination. Winner must be 21 years or older at time of entry.
Prize is non-transferable, cannot be substituted, may not be sold,
combined with any other offer or redeemed for cash. All travel is
subject to space availability. Blackout dates including holidays (e.g.,
Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years) and other restrictions may apply.
Winner and his/her guest must travel together and travel must be
completed by December 31, 2011. Winner and his/her guest are required to
obtain all requisite travel documents such as a visa and/or passport.
The odds of winning depend upon the total number of eligible
participants. Unclaimed prize will not be awarded. Trafalgar’s travel
insurance will be added to the booking for both passengers at their own
expense.
• Eligibility: Sweepstake open only to legal United States residents
within the 50 states and the District of Columbia with a valid non-P.O.
Box mailing address, 21 years of age or older at time of entry.
Employees of Trafalgar Tours and its affiliates, subsidiaries, promotion
and advertising agencies; and any other company involved in the design,
execution or production of the campaign, immediate family members
(spouses and parents, children and their spouses) of any of the
foregoing and those living in the same household of each are not
eligible to win this prize.
• General: Potential winner will be required to complete and sign an
Affidavit of Eligibility & Liability/Publicity Release to receive the
prize. The guest of the winner may be required to sign a Travel
Liability Release. These materials must be returned within fourteen (14)
days of first attempted notification. Failure to return such materials
within the allotted time will ultimately lead to forfeiture of prize.
Winner will be issued an Internal Revenue Form #1099 to report the
aforementioned prize value at approximately $7,000 (or as determined by
final tour cost) as earned income for 2010 or 2011. Promotion void where
prohibited by law. Prize is non-transferable, cannot be substituted, may
not be sold, combined with any other offer, or redeemed for cash. In the
event of unavailability of stated prize, Trafalgar Tours reserves the
right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. All entries
become the property of Trafalgar Tours and will not be returned. By
participating, entrants agree to be bound by these rules and all matters
relating to the prize.
By accepting the prize, the winner consent’s to the use of his/her name
and/or likeness for advertising/trade purposes without further
compensation, unless prohibited by law. As a condition of winning this
prize, winner and his/her guest agrees to release Trafalgar Tours and
its parent, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, advertising and
promotion agencies, suppliers, printers, and distributors from and
against any and all liability, claims, costs, or actions of any kind
whatsoever for injuries, death, damages, or losses of property which may
be sustained in connection with participating in the campaign, the
receipt, ownership or use of any prize awarded, or while preparing for,
participating in or traveling to or from any activity or any
typographical or other error in these Official Rules or the announcement
of offering of any prize.
• Official Rules & Name of Winner: To obtain the name of the winner send
a self-addressed stamped envelope to “Trafalgar’s September Celebration
Sweepstakes”, c/o Trafalgar Tours, 801 E. Katella Avenue, Anaheim, CA
92805-6606. Requests must be received by December 31, 2010.
